WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers sequel announced with 505 Games and Indolphinity
The souls‑like action RPG WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers, which launched in July 2025 and recorded over 131,000 concurrent Steam players and more than 5 million players worldwide, will receive a sequel. Digital Bros Group, the parent company of 505 Games, acquired the franchise’s intellectual‑property rights in April 2026 and has partnered with Indolphinity – a new Chengdu‑based studio founded by the original creative director Xia Siyuan – to develop the follow‑up.
Under the agreement, Indolphinity will lead creative development while 505 Games will provide funding and handle global publishing. The investment for the sequel is about €21.5 million. Digital Bros will also set up a wholly‑owned subsidiary in Chengdu to support the project, emphasising that the next title will remain rooted in China to preserve the IP’s cultural authenticity. The sequel is currently in early preparation and no release window or title has been announced yet.
