Digital marketing trends in Brazil face rising costs and conversion hurdles

Digital marketing strategies in Brazil are facing challenges regarding conversion efficiency and rising costs. While online advertising generates clicks, many businesses struggle to convert these into sales due to poor landing page performance. André Baumer, founder of Tempus Tech, notes that slow-loading pages or unclear offerings cause potential customers to abandon the site after a paid click has already been charged.

Financial pressures are increasing as Meta reported a 12% year-over-year rise in average advertising prices for the second quarter of 2026. Data from Cetic.br indicates that 41% of Brazilian companies with ten or more employees paid for internet advertising in 2025. Furthermore, with 65% of Brazilian internet users accessing the web via mobile devices, page speed is critical; a study by Deloitte suggests that improving mobile load times by just 0.1 seconds can increase retail conversion by 8.4%.

To combat the limitations of organic traffic and paid ads, companies are increasingly turning to outbound marketing. This strategy involves proactive contact through platforms that automate email, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp outreach to generate qualified leads and increase sales predictability.
