Digital training initiatives launch in Spain to boost professional skills

Various regional initiatives in Spain are launching free digital training programs to enhance professional skills and administrative efficiency.

In the Valencian Community, the Conecta Leader project—promoted by GAL Maestrat Plana Alta and funded by CaixaBank—will offer seven free courses between September and November. Aimed at freelancers, small businesses, and rural residents, the curriculum includes Google Workspace, mobile photography for product sales, and communication strategies for the agri-food sector.

In Ponferrada, the City Council, in collaboration with CyL Digital, is providing free in-person training sessions throughout September and October. These courses focus on practical tools such as Microsoft Word, intermediate Excel, and navigating electronic administration for tasks involving the Tax Agency, Social Security, and traffic authorities.
