Digital transformation advances in Algeria and Chad
Algeria's national digital services platform, Dzair Digital Services, has reached one million registered users within two and a half months of its official launch on July 5, 2026. According to the High Commission for Digitalization, the platform has seen over five million visitors, signaling a growing public trust in digital administrative procedures and a shift toward unified access to public services.
In Chad, health officials and partners are working to accelerate the digital transformation of the national healthcare system. A recent conference in N'Djamena, supported by Swiss Cooperation, focused on the challenges and opportunities of digital health. Key topics included telemedicine, electronic health records, and clinical decision-support tools aimed at improving healthcare access and system efficiency.
