Vingroup reports nine-month profit surge to 43.7 trillion VND
Vingroup (VIC) announced a significant increase in financial performance for the first nine months of 2026. The group reported consolidated net profit after tax of 43.7 trillion VND, representing a nearly sixfold increase compared to the same period in 2025. This result fulfills 125% of the company's full-year profit target.
Consolidated revenue for the nine-month period reached 372.5 trillion VND, a 2.2-fold increase year-on-year, driven primarily by the electric vehicle and real estate sectors. As of September 30, 2026, total assets stood at 1.6 quadrillion VND, up 44.8% since the beginning of the year.
VinFast, the group's technology and industrial pillar, reported global electric vehicle production of 211,242 units during the first nine months, a 91% increase over the previous year. In the domestic market, VinFast led the four-wheel vehicle segment with sales of 177,697 units, a 71% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
