Eddy Gnahore leaves Dinamo București as contract expires

Dinamo București announced on 16 June 2026 that midfielder Eddy Gnahore will leave the club when his contract ends at the end of the month. The decision follows the appointment of new coach Nuno Campos, who told club officials that Gnahore does not fit the new tactical plan.

Gnahore, 32, was the highest‑paid player on Dinamo’s wage bill – around €20,000 per month – and made 97 appearances for the team, scoring six goals and providing five assists over two and a half seasons. His departure joins a summer exodus that already saw Kennedy Boateng, Valentin Țicu, Georgi Milanov and Jordan Ikoko exit the squad.

Club president Andrei Nicolescu said the management is now searching for a midfielder with a different profile and is in talks with foreign players to reinforce the side. Gnahore thanked the fans on social media, writing: “Thank you to everyone who made this journey special; you will always have a place in my heart.”
