Dinamo Bucharest looks for new coach after Zeljko Kopic departs

Dinamo Bucharest announced the amicable termination of Croatian coach Zeljko Kopic, whose tenure ended without securing a European competition spot. Former club legend Cornel Dinu proposed former striker Adrian Mihalcea as a suitable replacement, highlighting his experience at Unirea Slobozia, Arad and UTA. The club is also reportedly close to signing Portuguese coach Nuno Campos.

FCSB official Mihai Stoica commented that Kopic's exit is unsurprising given the financial lure of other leagues and dismissed rumors of an offer from Al‑Wahda in the Gulf region. He noted that a similar scenario would likely lead to a coach’s departure at any Romanian club.
