Dinamo Bucharest signs 19‑year‑old defender Ștefan Opriș

Former Romanian international Florin Prunea praised Dinamo's new signing, 19‑year‑old right‑back Ștefan Opriș, calling him “Dan Petrescu in shoes.” Prunea said the club secured the player on a free transfer after his contract with the Romanian Football Federation was invalidated for a falsified signature. Opriș, a product of the U Cluj academy, spent last season on loan at Poli Iași in Liga 2, where he made 26 appearances and provided three decisive passes. The three‑year deal, valued at roughly €200,000, is expected to see him serve as backup for Maxime Sivis on Dinamo’s right flank. “They made an extraordinary deal,” Prunea added.
