Dinamo Bucharest signs Moroccan goalkeeper Alaa Bellaarouch on loan

Dinamo Bucharest confirmed the arrival of 24‑year‑old Moroccan goalkeeper Alaa Bellaarouch on a season‑long loan from Portuguese side SC Braga, with an option to make the deal permanent for €500,000 in the summer of 2027.

Bellaarouch, a former Morocco junior international, spent the 2025‑26 season with Braga after moving from French club RC Strasbourg, where he recorded 15 Ligue 1 appearances. Under the agreement, Braga will receive a fee if the option is exercised, and Strasbourg is entitled to 50 % of any future transfer sum.

The keeper joined Dinamo’s training camp in Poland, saying he was “a little tired but very happy” to join the Romanian club. His signing creates competition for the existing goalkeepers and could lead to adjustments in the squad.
