Dinamo Bucharest strengthens squad with Spanish defender Martin Pascual and Moroccan goalkeeper Alaa Bellaarouch
Romanian club Dinamo Bucharest announced several summer signings aimed at increasing competition and depth, particularly in central defence. Sporting director Cosmin Mihăilescu highlighted the arrival of 26‑year‑old Spanish centre‑back Martin Pascual, noting his aerial strength and experience in the Spanish league system. The club also secured 24‑year‑old Moroccan goalkeeper Alaa Bellaarouch on a season‑long loan from Braga with an option to buy, praising his reflexes and footwork.
Other young additions include right‑back Stefan Opriş (19) from Poli Iași, and prospects Adriano Manole, Ianis Doană and Răzvan Radu. Dinamo expressed interest in bringing back former player Ionuț Nedelcearu, but the Romanian defender remains under contract with Russian side Akron Tolyatti, where a transfer would have cost about €1 million.
The recruitment drive reflects Dinamo’s strategy of fielding multiple central defenders to foster competition and improve overall squad quality for the upcoming season.
