Dinamo Bucharest navigates post‑Kopic coaching shift and George Pușcaș contract talks
Former Dinamo legend Cornel Dinu criticised the club’s direction after the departure of head coach Zeljko Kopic, who had guided the team to a fourth‑place finish and a Conference League play‑off spot. Dinu warned of a “conflictual” season without Kopic and highlighted the appointment of Portuguese coach Nuno Campos as the new technical leader.
At the same time, Dinamo entered negotiations with striker George Pușcaș, who expressed a desire to remain at the club. The parties discussed extending his contract beyond the current 2027 expiry, with a view to a new deal lasting until 2028. Pușcaș, recovering from a recent hernia operation, aims for stability after several club changes, while Dinamo seeks a reliable forward for the upcoming SuperLiga campaign that begins on 19 July against Petrolul Ploiești.
