Dinamo Zagreb eyes key signings and plans Australian friendly with Hajduk

Dinamo Zagreb is involved in several transfer moves. Italian club Lazio has shown serious interest in the 21‑year‑old defender Sergi Domínguez, proposing a loan with an option to buy after a €12 million price tag was rejected by Dinamo. The club is also preparing to loan out high‑paid centre‑back Samy Mmaee to Cypriot side Pafos, easing its wage bill. Goalkeeper Ivan Nevistić received offers from Turkey and Poland, while the future of first‑choice keeper Dominik Livaković will be clarified after talks in Istanbul with Fenerbahçe.

In parallel, officials have floated the idea of a historic “down‑under” friendly between Dinamo and rivals Hajduk Split in Australia, potentially in Sydney or Melbourne in January 2027. The proposal, backed by Australian state governments, aims to tap into the large Croatian diaspora and coincide with the Calcio Italiano tournament that will feature clubs such as Milan, Inter and Juventus.
