Dinamo Zagreb negotiations stall over Dominik Kotarski transfer

Negotiations between Dinamo Zagreb and F.C. København regarding the transfer of goalkeeper Dominik Kotarski have reached a standstill due to financial disagreements.

København has requested a total of 3.9 million euros for a one-year loan that includes a mandatory buyout clause of 3.3 million euros if Dinamo qualifies for the Champions League, plus an initial 600,000 euros for the loan. Dinamo Zagreb has rejected these terms, citing a need for strict financial discipline. The Croatian club is instead proposing a one-year loan without a mandatory buyout, with a subsequent purchase option not exceeding approximately 1 million euros.

While Kotarski is reportedly eager to return to his home country, Dinamo officials are weighing their options following their exit from the Champions League. A decision on whether to submit a revised offer will be made following a club meeting after their upcoming match against Istra 1961. The deadline for registering players for European competitions is September 3.
