Dinko Horkaš to join Al Wasl from Las Palmas

Croatian goalkeeper Dinko Horkaš is set to transfer from Spanish side Las Palmas to the Dubai-based club Al Wasl. Reports indicate the transfer fee will be in the region of €4.5 million to €5 million.

Horkaš, who joined Las Palmas from Lokomotiv Plovdiv in 2024, reportedly sought the move to the United Arab Emirates for significant financial benefits. While Celtic had previously scouted the goalkeeper and included him on a shortlist, the club ultimately decided against a bid as the required fee exceeded their budget.

Previously a youth player at Dinamo Zagreb, Horkaš played 43 matches for Las Palmas last season. The move to Al Wasl follows negotiations where Las Palmas sought a fee of approximately €5 million plus a percentage of any future transfer.
