Horkaš reportedly sought the move to the United Arab Emirates for financial benefits. Due to FIFA’s solidarity mechanism, several clubs involved in Horkaš’s development will receive compensation, including Dinamo Zagreb, Posušje, Varaždin, and Zrinjski.
