Dinko Horkaš transfers from Las Palmas to Al-Wasl for 4.5 million euros
Croatian goalkeeper Dinko Horkaš is transferring from the Spanish club Las Palmas to Al-Wasl in the United Arab Emirates. The deal is valued at 4.5 million euros, according to Las Palmas president Miguel Ángel Ramírez.
After accounting for player and agent shares, Las Palmas is expected to net approximately 4.2 million euros. Horkaš, 27, made 59 appearances for the Spanish side, including 13 matches in La Liga, after joining them as a free agent from Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
Due to FIFA's solidarity mechanism, several clubs involved in Horkaš's development will receive compensation. Dinamo Zagreb is estimated to receive roughly 146,000 euros, while Posušje, Varaždin, and Zrinjski are expected to receive approximately 23,000 euros each.
