Dino expands Polish retail footprint with urban stores and new logistics hub
The Polish supermarket chain Dino is pursuing an aggressive expansion strategy targeting larger urban areas and infrastructure development. In Szczecin, the company is planning to enter previously underserved northern districts, such as the area near Stołczyńska Street, where it aims to become a pioneer supermarket provider in locations currently served only by small local shops.
Additionally, Dino is expanding its logistics capabilities with plans to build a large distribution center in Lulkowo, near Gniezno. The project, managed by Centrum Wynajmu Nieruchomości, involves a 47,000 square meter warehouse on an 18-hectare site. This facility is expected to create approximately 600 jobs and will include a new Dino market on the same parcel. This follows a period of rapid growth for the retailer, which opened 256 new stores between January and September 2026, bringing its total to 3,283 locations.
