Dino Polska and trade union to begin mediation in September
Mediation sessions between Dino Polska and the OPZZ Konfederacja Pracy trade union are scheduled to begin on September 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM in Warsaw. The meeting, held at the Social Partnership Center, was organized by mediator Wioletta Kandziak following reports that the employer had not responded to previously proposed dates.
The conflict involves two collective disputes. Union demands include wage increases, increased staffing, the establishment of a Company Social Benefits Fund, and improved working conditions. Additionally, workers are seeking an end to the use of surveillance monitoring for disciplining staff and increasing productivity, as well as structural changes in supermarkets to mitigate health risks.
The Polish Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy has formally assessed that a collective dispute exists. The trade union has indicated that if the dispute is not resolved through these mediations, they may proceed with a general strike.
