DIONYSOS theater troupe launches Evros summer tour with anti‑racist comedy

The Theatrical Workshop of New Orestiada, DIONYSOS, is touring the Evros region with its new production “Simbetheroi ap’ ta Tirana”, a socially‑relevant anti‑racist comedy. After sold‑out shows at its home venue in New Orestiada, the troupe will perform free or low‑price shows in multiple towns throughout July, including Orestiada (July 6), Rizia (July 8), Neochoiri (July 11), Ormenio (July 12), Nea Vyssa (July 17) and Alexandroupoli (July 29). The performances feature a cast led by Thanasis Papathanasiou, Michalis Repas and director Akis Tsonidis, with sets and costumes by Nikos Patounas. The tour continues into August with additional dates to be announced.
