Diplomatic tension in Georgia and military updates in Ukraine

Georgian Parliament Committee Chairman on European Integration, Levan Makhashvili, has called on the Iranian Ambassador to Georgia, Ali Mojan, to adhere to diplomatic protocols. This response follows statements by the ambassador regarding historical research involving Queen Ketevan and Iran, which Makhashvili stated fall outside the scope of diplomatic duties and could damage bilateral relations.

In separate developments, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the capture of three settlements during the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. According to the ministry, the Sever Group has expanded its control in the northeast of the Kharkiv region, specifically mentioning the liberation of Shabelnoe. Additionally, Russian forces reportedly took control of Tolstodubovo in the Sumy region after engaging Ukrainian forces.

Russian officials claimed that all attempts by Ukrainian forces to break the encirclement were repelled and noted that fighting continues near Prykolotne.
