Disaster relief efforts intensify in Nusa Tenggara Timur

Several Indonesian companies are mobilizing resources to provide humanitarian aid to disaster-affected areas in Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT).

PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) has deployed the KMP Inerie II vessel to transport essential supplies from Surabaya to Maumere. The shipment includes rice, instant noodles, cooking oil, sugar, mineral water, baby supplies, clothing, blankets, and medical kits. This initiative follows directives from President Prabowo Subianto to utilize ferry services for disaster relief distribution.

Additionally, PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) has distributed 120 aid packages consisting of food supplies and hygiene kits, alongside cash assistance totaling Rp 55.7 million. The food packages include staples such as flour, eggs, and tea, while hygiene kits contain soap, shampoo, and toothbrushes. These efforts are being coordinated through local authorities and military units to support the recovery process in the region.
