Disfear announces new album The Last Nail and single Shackled To Our Vice

Swedish D-beat band Disfear has announced their upcoming album, ‘The Last Nail’, scheduled for release on November 20 via Relapse Records. The release follows the untimely deaths of influential vocalist Tomas Lindberg and drummer Marcus Andersson.

Recorded before their passing, the album is described as a defiant triumph and a tribute to those lost. The band’s latest single, ‘Shackled To Our Vice’, features their signature blend of D-beat and downtuned rock ’n’ roll. During the recording process in Gothenburg, Lindberg re-recorded vocals for all eight tracks due to a sudden creative impulse, shortly before receiving a cancer diagnosis that would later impact his work.

Instrumentation for the album was tracked at God City with Kurt Ballou and at Welfare Sounds with Per Stålberg. Mixing was handled by Magnus Lindberg at Redmount Studios, with mastering by Sören Von Malmborg at Cosmos Mastering.
