Disney and Pixar celebrate Cars 20th anniversary with re-release and Adidas collaboration

Disney and Pixar are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the film ‘Cars’ through various commemorative actions. In Brazil, the movie is scheduled for a theatrical re-release on October 8. Disney has confirmed that the Brazilian theatrical version will retain its original 2006 dubbing, featuring the original voices of characters such as Lightning McQueen and Sally Carrera, addressing fan concerns regarding potential redubbing.

In the United States, Adidas has partnered with Pixar to launch a special collection of football boots inspired by the film. The collection includes the Adizero Electric II model in red, themed after Lightning McQueen, and the Adizero Impact II Mid model in brown, themed after Mater. The products are currently available on the Adidas US website.
