Disney Animal Kingdom switches Bluey's Wild World to standby queue

Disney’s Animal Kingdom introduced Bluey’s Wild World at Conservation Station on May 26 as part of the park’s Cool Kids Summer event. The attraction initially used a virtual queue, requiring guests to join digitally and wait for a boarding group before boarding the Wildlife Express Train.

On June 2 the park eliminated the virtual queue and moved the experience to a traditional standby line. Families now join a physical queue at the train station, and wait times are displayed on digital signs at Conservation Station. The change makes the Wildlife Express Train a critical bottleneck, since the train is the only way to reach Bluey’s Wild World.

Park officials noted that the shift alters morning crowd patterns: thrill‑seekers still head to Pandora and Expedition Everest, while families with young children move toward the train early in the day. The new rope‑drop strategy advises guests to arrive early and board the train before the midday heat, as lines grow longer in the afternoon. The attraction’s description invites guests to “hop aboard the Wildlife Express Train and get ready for a colorful stop” and promises “laugh, dance and play games” with Bluey and Bingo.
