Disney Cruise Line expands placeholder discounts through 2027

Disney Cruise Line has expanded its onboard placeholder reservation program, offering increased discounts for future sailings through September 2027. The placeholder program allows guests to place a $250 deposit per stateroom while currently sailing to secure a discount on a future voyage, provided the booking is made within 24 months.

While the standard discount has historically been 10%, the updated offer includes tiers of 20% and up to 25% off select sailings. The expanded savings apply to various ships, including the Disney Dream, Disney Destiny, Disney Magic, Disney Treasure, Disney Wish, and Disney Wonder. Additionally, the update introduces a new 10% discount specifically for certain Concierge-level staterooms.

For guests who already hold a placeholder reservation for a sailing that has newly become eligible for a higher discount tier, Disney stated that the increased savings will be applied to those bookings automatically.
