Disney Pixar’s Cars celebrates 20th anniversary with theatrical re-release

The Disney Pixar animation ‘Cars’ is returning to theaters to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The remastered film follows the story of Lightning McQueen, a racing car who discovers the value of friendship and respect in the town of Radiator Springs after becoming stranded on Route 66.

In addition to the cinematic re-release, the franchise's legacy extends to video games. Notable titles include ‘Cars: The Videogame’ (2006), ‘Cars Race-O-Rama’ (2009), ‘Cars 2: The Video Game’ (2011), ‘Cars 3: Driven to Win’ (2017), and the free-to-play ‘Disney Speedstorm’.
