Disney+ releases trailer for ‘The Remarried Empress’ starring Shin Min-a

Disney+ has released the main trailer and poster for the original Korean series ‘The Remarried Empress’, scheduled for exclusive streaming on November 4. Based on the global mega-hit web novel and LINE Manga series that has recorded over 2.9 billion views, the drama follows a complex four-way romance and power struggle within an imperial setting.

The story centers on Empress Navier (Shin Min-a), Emperor Sovieshu (Ju Ji-hoon), Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom (Lee Jong-suk), and Rashta (Lee Se-young). The plot intensifies when the Emperor announces his intention to divorce the Empress following the arrival of Rashta, prompting Navier to demand approval for her remarriage to Prince Heinrey.

Media reports have highlighted the high-profile casting and the production's fantasy romance genre. While some online reactions have debated the age gaps between certain actors, the series is being positioned as a major upcoming release for the platform.
