Disney+ sets November premiere for K-drama ‘The Remarried Empress’

Disney+ has announced that the K-drama series ‘The Remarried Empress’ will premiere on November 4, 2026. The 10-part historical fantasy romance is an adaptation of the popular Naver webtoon, which has accumulated nearly three billion views.

Starring Shin Min-a, Ju Ji-hoon, Lee Jong-suk, and Lee Se-young, the series follows Empress Navier as she navigates a crumbling marriage with Emperor Sovieshu. After the Emperor falls for a runaway slave named Rashta, Navier agrees to a divorce on the condition that she is permitted to remarry Crown Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom.

The series will debut with four episodes on November 4, followed by two new episodes every Wednesday, concluding on November 25. Prior to its streaming release, the first three episodes will be screened at the 31st Busan International Film Festival in October 2026 as part of the ‘On Screen’ section.
