Disney Unveils Trailer for 'Descendants: Wicked Wonderland' with Awkwafina Joining Cast

Disney released a new trailer for the upcoming film *Descendants: Wicked Wonderland*, confirming that actress and comedian Awkwafina will voice a new Wonderland character named Cheesy. The sequel continues the story of Red (Kylie Cantrall) and Chloe Charming (Malia Baker) as they confront the consequences of altering time, facing a fresh villain in a re‑imagined Wonderland.

Returning cast members include Rita Ora as the Queen of Hearts, Brandy as Cinderella, Paolo Montalban as King Charming, and Melanie Paxson as the Fairy Godmother. The film is slated to premiere on Disney Channel on July 16, 2026, with a Disney+ release the following day.
