Disney World repairs damage at EPCOT's American Adventure Pavilion

After the Fourth of July weekend, Walt Disney World removed patriotic signage from the American Adventure Pavilion at EPCOT, revealing significant damage to the building's iconic white columns. Issues included chipped paint, adhesive residue and a torn metal anchor exposing the underlying material. Interior paint damage also appeared after the removal of the "Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief's Tribute to America's Warriors" exhibit, which featured paintings by former President George W. Bush.

Walt Disney World has installed white refurbishment boxes around the four most damaged columns and is patching paint inside the pavilion. The repair work follows a construction permit naming Tecta America Corp. as the contractor for the exterior metal and waterproofing work. Both the American Adventure show and Voices of Liberty performances continue without interruption.
