Disneyland begins holiday transformation of “it's a small world”

Disneyland Resort has begun the annual holiday transformation of the “it's a small world” attraction in Fantasyland. While the park is currently observing the Halloween season, crews have already started installing Christmas lights on the exterior of the ride's facade.

The attraction is scheduled to close for its holiday overlay on October 30. During the closure, crews will add festive elements, including a large red Santa Claus hat to the spinning clock face on the building. The ride is expected to reopen with its full holiday theme on November 13, 2026.

The seasonal overhaul typically includes thousands of colorful lights, holiday-themed outfits for the animatronic dolls, and a modified soundtrack that incorporates holiday classics into the ride's original theme song.
