Disneyland Paris drives economic growth and social media influence
Disneyland Paris serves as a major economic driver for the Île-de-France region and France. The resort generates an annual production of approximately 6.5 billion euros, contributing significantly to the national tourism sector. Since its opening in 1992, the complex has produced a cumulative added value of 68 billion euros, representing 6.2% of French tourism revenue.
The resort is a primary employer in the Île-de-France region, supporting 45,000 direct and indirect jobs. It also contributes 344 million euros in annual tax revenue and maintains a network of 3,000 European suppliers.
In terms of digital influence, Disneyland Paris leads the French travel and tourism sector on social media. According to Kolsquare data for the first half of the year, the park achieved the highest Earned Media Value (EMV) on both Instagram and TikTok. It recorded an EMV of 14.3 million euros on Instagram and 8.2 million euros on TikTok, outperforming other major travel and leisure brands.
