Disney's Animal Kingdom delays opening of Jumping Junction habitat in Bluey’s Wild World

Disney’s Animal Kingdom introduced the limited‑time Bluey’s Wild World attraction earlier this summer, featuring themed play areas and character interactions for families. A central component, Jumping Junction – an Australian‑themed animal habitat that replaced the former Affection Section – was slated to be a walkthrough experience.

Weeks after the attraction opened, the walkthrough section remains closed. The animals have been moved into the enclosure, but guests can only view them from outside the fencing. Disney officials say the delay is to allow the animals additional time to acclimate to their new surroundings before large numbers of visitors walk through the habitat. No reopening date has been announced.
