Disney World updates Grand Floridian dining and entrance

Walt Disney World is progressing with infrastructure and dining updates at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The Grand Floridian Café, which has been closed for refurbishment since July 20, is scheduled to reopen in early November, with reservations now being accepted.

Additionally, significant roadway construction in the corridor between the Magic Kingdom parking lot and the Polynesian Village Resort is nearing a new phase. A new entrance to the Grand Floridian is set to open on September 10, connecting to a northern roundabout. This new layout is intended to alleviate traffic congestion caused by the current temporary connector roads and construction barriers used to manage resort guests, buses, and rideshare vehicles.
