Disney's Lakeshore Lodge construction progresses at Bay Lake

Construction is progressing rapidly at Disney's Lakeshore Lodge, a new resort located on the shores of Bay Lake near the Magic Kingdom area. Recent aerial photography taken from 3,500 feet shows significant development, including progress on the main structures and recreation areas such as the pool sites at The Wetlands and Cypress Point.

The project has undergone two identity shifts since its inception. Originally announced as Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge to be built on the former site of Disney's River Country, it was later known as Disney Lakeshore Lodge. A recent trademark application filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on August 11, 2026, officially updated the name to Disney's Lakeshore Lodge.

The resort is currently scheduled to open on July 1, 2027.
