Distrito Federal debt creditors have until Friday for settlement agreement
Creditors of court-ordered debts (precatórios) against the Distrito Federal or its administrative entities have until Friday, September 18, to apply for a direct payment agreement. The initiative is led by the Court of Justice of the Federal District and Territories (TJDFT) through its Precatórios Conciliation Coordination (Coorpre).
The agreement offers a 40% discount on the updated value of the debt. It is available to holders of food-related or common court orders issued up to the date of Notice No. 4/2026, specifically for processes within the TJDFT. To qualify, the debts must not have been assigned to third parties or used for tax compensation.
Applications must be submitted electronically by a lawyer via the PGDF – Concilia Portal. Required documentation includes a power of attorney registered within the last 60 days. Creditors without legal representation may seek assistance from the Public Defender's Office of the Federal District. Priority for multiple creditors will be determined by criteria such as serious illness, age over 60, disability, debt value, and alphabetical order.
