Dive Into You K-drama gains traction with time-travel and body-swap plot

The new fantasy romance K-drama ‘Dive Into You’, starring Kim Ji Yeon (Bona) and Park Seo Ham, has gained significant social media attention following its premiere on Viki.

The series follows Yoon Ha Na, an A-list actress, and her twin brother Yoon Ha Ru, played by Jang Se Hyuk. After a car accident involving an old camcorder, the siblings are transported back to 2010. During this time-slip, the twins unexpectedly swap bodies, with Ha Na inhabiting her brother’s athletic frame and Ha Ru inhabiting Ha Na’s body.

A central plot point involves the twins attempting to use their knowledge of the future to prevent the tragic death of Ha Na’s first love, Jung Woo Jae (Park Seo Ham). The show has drawn comparisons to the hit drama ‘Lovely Runner’ due to its time-traveling and first-love rescue themes, though viewers note the unique body-swap and camcorder elements distinguish it.
