Indonesia Reports Several Missing Persons Found Deceased in Remote Areas

A joint search team in the Tanimbar Islands located the body of 40‑year‑old diver Yohanis Malirafin on 26 July, 150 m from where he was reported missing while spearfishing.

In Rejang Lebong, 57‑year‑old Odi was found dead in a 7‑metre‑deep ravine about 200 m from his home after being missing for roughly 30 hours; authorities suspect he fell.

Langsa authorities recovered the body of 42‑year‑old fisherman Muhammad Amin on 27 July after he vanished while fishing; he was found floating at the mouth of Sungai Pauh roughly 300 m from his boat.
