DJ OZMA makes surprise comeback at Tokyo’s Takanawa Gateway live event

DJ OZMA performed a surprise live set on 31 October at the plaza in front of Tokyo’s Takanawa Gateway station as part of Suntory’s “Non‑Alcohol Summer Live” series. He sang six of his hits, including “AGE ♂ AGE ♂ EVERY☆KNIGHT,” and interacted with dancers and fans on a temporary stage.

During the show he announced that he will appear at the upcoming KISHI‑DAN Expo in November, a event sponsored by Suntory, and praised the company’s non‑alcoholic beverage line. The DJ, who announced his retirement in 2008, thanked Suntory for reviving his career and said the station‑front venue was a unique experience for a non‑politician.

Fans responded with loud cheers, and OZMA rebuffed requests to remove his jacket, noting that such behavior would not be acceptable today.
