DJI expands home cleaning line with Romo P2 robot vacuum
DJI is expanding its presence in the home cleaning market with the Romo series of robot vacuums. The newer Romo P2 model features advanced navigation technology, including LiDAR, 3D ToF sensors, and dual RGB cameras. It is designed with a 123-degree oscillating arm and articulated legs capable of overcoming obstacles up to 8.5 cm. The device offers a suction power of 38,000 Pa and includes a self-maintaining washing station.
During the French Days promotion, the Romo P2 is being offered at a discounted price of 1,059 euros at Boulanger, down from its original price of 1,299 euros.
The previous model, the DJI Romo P, utilizes drone-inspired navigation systems, such as fisheye binocular vision and solid-state LiDAR, to detect small objects like 2 mm cables. The Romo P is currently available on Amazon for 899 euros, representing a significant discount from its list price of 1,409 euros.
