DJI launches Romo P2 robot vacuum

DJI has released the Romo P2, the second generation of its robot vacuum and mop series. Building on the navigation expertise used in its drone technology, the new model features improved agility and obstacle detection.

The Romo P2 maintains a distinctive transparent aesthetic that reveals internal components, resembling a small space exploration vehicle. Notable functional updates include an articulated arm designed to clean under appliances like refrigerators. While the device is noted for being quieter than many competitors and offering methodical room navigation, its design remains polarizing due to its non-traditional appearance.

In Europe, the Romo P2 is priced at 1,299 euros, while the Romo A2 model is available for 1,199 euros. The product is not yet officially available in the United States.
