DK Shivakumar addresses HD Kumaraswamy's allegations

Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar stated on Monday that Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy is not fighting against the Congress party, but is instead fighting to eliminate the BJP. Speaking to the media in Bengaluru, Shivakumar addressed allegations made by Kumaraswamy regarding the state government's alleged involvement in the KPSC recruitment scam.

Shivakumar noted that he would not interfere in investigations regarding the KPSC matter and expressed that the BJP appears to be facing internal conflict. He also responded to Kumaraswamy's claim of possessing documents that could cause political upheaval by stating, “Very happy about it.”

Regarding government policy, the Chief Minister discussed the proposed sixth guarantee, the ‘Land Guarantee’ scheme, clarifying that it would not be limited to Bengaluru but would apply to all individuals who have provided land or property to the government. Additionally, he mentioned that the government intends to discuss the K. Kasturirangan report concerning the Western Ghats and farmer-related issues, seeking input from MLAs.
