DMK Spokesperson Says Relations with IUML Remain Good After Alliance Breakup

DMK spokesperson T.K.S. Elangovan said that, although the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) has decided to leave the coalition, the two parties have always maintained a good relationship and the political situation will be monitored in the coming days.

Elangovan also commented on a recent suicide of a 19‑year‑old NEET aspirant, urging that the NEET exam be withdrawn, criticizing the role of money, alleged paper leaks in North India and unequal treatment of candidates. He added remarks on the state permitting more alcohol brands, cited recent crime incidents involving TVK members, and noted that AIADMK leaders joining other parties will not affect the DMK.
