Dúo Belcorde to perform Spanish music in Switzerland and Malta

The musical group Dúo Belcorde, composed of Manuel Briega Román and Adrián Fernández Arcediano, is continuing its international tour with upcoming performances in Geneva, Switzerland, and Valletta, Malta, scheduled for November.

The duo, which has spent over fifteen years promoting Spanish culture abroad, will present two distinct programs. The first, ‘El embrujo de la música española’, features works by composers such as Falla, Turina, Granados, and Sarasate, alongside an original composition titled ‘Paisajes sonoros de Ciudad Real’ that evokes landmarks from the Ciudad Real province. The second program, ‘Música en tiempos del Quijote’, focuses on the musical heritage associated with the era of Cervantes.

Miguel Ángel Valverde, president of the Ciudad Real Provincial Council, met with representatives of the group to discuss their international activities and reiterated the institution's support for their cultural mission to promote the province on global stages.
