Doctor Ama Adu-Appiah equips Paga Hospital with Gh¢20,000 cash gift
Dr. Ama Antwiwaa Adu‑Appiah, a medical officer at Paga Hospital in Ghana’s Kassena‑Nankana West District, received a Gh¢20,000 cash reward from the Paga Youth Movement on 16 July 2026 in recognition of her decision to accept the posting. She used the entire amount to purchase essential medical equipment—including nebulisers, blood‑pressure monitors, a fetal Doppler, a vein finder, a haemoglobin analyser, drip stands, ward screens, a baby weighing scale, perfuser lines, Veronica buckets, hand‑washing basins, cotton wool and bottled water. Hospital staff praised her self‑lessness, noting the new items will improve patient care and working conditions for the medical team and the surrounding community.
