Doctor Who: The Satan Pit Extended Cut adds encore cinema screenings

BBC Studios, CinemaLive, and Fathom Entertainment have announced additional encore screenings for ‘The Satan Pit Extended Cut’ on Saturday, 28 November 2026. These screenings follow the initial event scheduled for Monday, 23 November, which is designated as ‘Doctor Who Day’.

The feature-length version combines the 2006 two-part story ‘The Impossible Planet’ and ‘The Satan Pit’ into a single film. It includes restored deleted scenes, extended footage, and an exclusive interview with director James Strong. The story stars David Tennant as the Doctor and Billie Piper as Rose Tyler.

Additional screenings will take place across the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. In the UK, Cineworld will host evening 4DX screenings at all 34 of its locations on both 23 and 28 November.
