Dodge expands Charger Daytona presence with Hallmark ornament and battery safety patent

Dodge parent company Stellantis is advancing both consumer products and safety technology related to the all-electric Dodge Charger Daytona. Hallmark has announced it will add the 2025 Charger Daytona Scat Pack to its Keepsake Ornament lineup for 2026, marking it as the only electric vehicle option in the collection.

Separately, Stellantis has filed a patent for a ‘High-Voltage Battery Quick Release System For Vehicle.’ The proposed system is designed to mitigate fire risks by disconnecting and dropping the battery pack from the vehicle using opposing frames or pyrotechnic fasteners. To ensure the vehicle can move away from the detached, potentially burning battery, the system utilizes the standard 12-volt battery to power the car a short distance to a safe location.
