Dogliani municipality urges water conservation amid severe drought

The town of Dogliani in Italy is facing a prolonged lack of rainfall that is depleting local water reservoirs. The municipal authority issued an urgent appeal to residents, warning that continued dryness could force water rationing.

The appeal follows a request from the integrated water service provider ATO4 Cuneese, which asked the council to inform users and promote careful use of drinking‑water supplies. Residents are urged to restrict consumption to essential domestic needs and to avoid non‑essential uses such as lawn irrigation, garden watering and washing cars, in order to preserve the remaining stock before any mandatory restrictions become necessary.
