Dolly Parton estate alleges nephew is evading lawsuit
The estate of Dolly Parton, managed by She's Alive LLC, has filed a new court document alleging that Bryan Seaver is attempting to evade a lawsuit. Seaver, Parton's nephew and former head of security, is accused of using barbed wire and “no trespassing” signs at his residence to prevent process servers from delivering legal documents.
She's Alive LLC is suing Seaver for allegedly threatening and extorting the estate following Parton's death on August 25. A Tennessee judge previously issued a temporary restraining order against Seaver and his security company, ruling that they posed a “present and continuing disruption and threat” to the business empire.
Seaver has denied the allegations, claiming he was fired due to “contrived threats.” He stated that the existing restraining order prevents him from speaking publicly regarding the legal matter.
