Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library announces ‘Give Like Dolly Day’

The Dollywood Foundation has announced ‘Give Like Dolly Day’ on September 25 to support Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. This global initiative aims to honor Dolly Parton’s legacy of promoting children's literacy and to support local Imagination Library partners worldwide.

In the United States, the United Way of Fort Smith Area, which serves several counties in Arkansas and Oklahoma, will participate in a statewide community challenge to raise funds for the program. The organization currently provides books to more than 3,600 children each month.

In the United Kingdom, Hobbycraft is supporting the cause through ‘The Big Bedazzle’ workshops. Running from September 21 to September 25, these in-store sessions allow participants to decorate items with sequins and gems. A portion of the workshop fees will be donated to the Imagination Library to help fund books for children in the UK.
